Abstract Summary
Parents Journey in Finding Answers When Doctors Failed to Diagnose Congenital CMV at Birth. As a mother, when your baby is born all you want to hear from the doctors is your baby to be healthy and happy. This journey starts at the day of birth for Pella, who is now 8 years old, actually it began at the 20 week ultrasound to be accurate. I will go through the diagnosis, the failures of the medical community, doctors reaction to health conditions the first 5 days of life, searching and advocating to find a diagnosis for my daughter.
